Central Park meets Lil Primrose

Have you seen the latest release from KaiserCraft...Lil Primrose.  You're going to love it.  This is a layout I created using Lil Primrose.  I love this shot I got back in December in Central Park and when I looked at the colors, I thought it would go great with Lil Primrose.

I used one of the Saturday Sketches from Kasier...do you ever play along?  You could win a collection if you did. Click Here to find out more information.

I also used Epiphany tools and bubble caps on the title...love, love, love Epiphany.  You can create any custom embellishments that are a perfect fit for your projects.

Have a great weekend and I'll see you next week.

New Beginnings with Heartfelt

I love the way this card turned out using Heartfelts latest release.  The sentiment is just such a beautiful saying.  Believe it or not I used two of the Decorative Chateau Gate dies to created the lovely flourished background for the sentiment.  Want to learn more...be sure to head over to Heartfelt's Blog and see complete instructions, supply list and other beautiful projects from the rest of the design team.

Oh and I just have to mention the beautiful paper collection I used was from ScrapCake...really nice quality papers with gorgeous patterns, Yum.

This card qualifies for the following challenges: Stampin Sisterhood Challenge SS7 (RubberNecker) : picture inspiration

Love Birds

It's the perfect season for cards filled with love and sweet wishes. With out Scrapping Cottage's new Valentine collection cards are easy peasy. This card was created using the Whimsey Bird and Cage die. Granted it's great for Valentines but the best part about this die is you really can use it anytime for any occasion. The sentiment (from Unity) is stamped on the Airplane with Banner and Sign another one that I use over and over.

I hope you have had a chance to participate in Scrapping Cottage's  current challenge....just create a layout and use one of their dies and you might just win a prize. Here's the link to our current challenge.

Two Hearts with Prickley Pear

Happy Monday everyone it's a Prickley Pear day.  I created this card using the Heart Key Crown Clear Stamp set and the Scalloped Circle Die (one of my favorites).  The paper is from a company I just recently discovered, Pion.

For a Valentines Day card I liked using non traditional colors.  Of course...I added pearls, LOL.

Love a Little Challenge

I love to join in a good challenge so when I saw Angela from Unity posted a challenge to use one of the stamp of the weeks in a card...I had to jump in.

I also used the sketch from Card Patterns, which is for Unity this week, so the two went hand in hand.

Hope you have a great week and I'll be posting several projects so be sure to check back in.

Helmar Guest Designer

I'm so honored to have been chosen as a guest designer this month for Helmar Glue Arts. I can't get enough of their Scrap Dots and 450...both are wonderful.

This is a layout I created and I used their Scrap-Dots to adhere the Dusty Attic chipboard embellishments.

With the intricate details there is just no way to add foam tape, but with the Scrap-Dots I could still achieve the dimension I love without the glue showing. Love this stuff!!!!

The belt buckle was made using Amazing Mold.  Please go to their blog and see my whole post on this showing you how to make one for yourself.

See ya soon!!!

Prickley Pear Monday

Happy Monday everyone.  Yeap it's Prickley Pear day and I've got a Valentines Day card to share with you.  I used the Valentine Balloon stamp for the main stamp.  I piece cut the hearts on the balloons and covered them with Sakura so they'll pop.

The sentiment is from our current release: Let's Go Together.  The paper line is from Crate: Emma's Shop.  I've had this paper for a while and I love it so, but have never used it.  I'm one of those funny birds who hates to use my favorite paper...fear I'll run out of them.  Yes I know it's crazy, but I do tend to do that.  I'm going to have to really push myself to quit that bad habit.

Have a great week.

Hugs,
