Here is my creation for the hop.

Everybody needs a wallet when they start out on a journey, so of course when I saw the Come Away with Me Collection I knew I wanted to make a paper wallet to hold pictures and keepsakes from a trip.  Though it might not hold up for the actual adventure itself, this is a perfect little keepsake to create to remember all those moments.  The EZ Runner Adhesive made it easy to attach the three base layers that create the core of the wallet.  The front is adorned with Graphic 45 embellishments that pop off the page using the dimension foam squares.  I just layered several of the dots together if I wanted it a bit thicker…but having the thin gave me a lot of room to play with depth.

Hampton Art

This is a card I created for Hampton Art using the Graphic 45 By the Sea collection with coordinating stamps.  The seashells have all be embossed so they give a great background for the card.  The mermaid was stamped, colored and then fussy cut out.

I'll see you Wednesday with a great Blog Hop for Graphic 45!!!!!

An Eriee Tale with Graphic 45

I love those days when I get to share my projects with everyone over on the Graphic 45 Blog.  We had a color challenge this month: feature three Graphic 45 Coordinations colors to make a custom  palette. I used the Photogenic, Bordeaux, and the Green Moss, using the  the Halloween Collection : An Eerie Tale .  I felt that gave a different Halloween mix.   I really like the featured scene that I used, a beautiful maiden sitting and eating with a goblin...how creepy but yet elegant at the same time, LOL.

Be sure to hop over to the Blog today and see some other amazing color combos from Annette and Keri.

I think it's just as important to make the inside of your card as beautiful as the outside...like a secret little gift to the recipient.

Maya Road and Xyron together again

Today I'd love to share a pillow box I created for Xyron using some of Maya Roads embellishments and Graphic 45's Botanical Tea Collection  I added just a bit of distress ink to my Maya Road burlap flower to darken the color and make it blend with the paper a bit better.

The buttons were run through my 5" Creative Station and then covered with paper, sanded and inked to make personalized matching embellishments.  Even the cute raffia is from Maya Roads that I ran through the buttons and it really just pulls everything together.

Here is a complete list of products used on this project, so you are sure to be able to create your own.

Sunny Days With Heartfelt Creations

I love Wednesdays because that means it's a day I can share my latest creations for Heartfelt Creations.  Today's card is one I made using the Cut, Mat and Create paper collection along with some handmade flowers that Heartfelt is known for.  It always amazes me how you can take a pretty simple card and add some handmade flowers and it takes it to an out of this world card...LOVE IT!!!!

Be sure to hop over to the Heartfelt Blog and see more creations by the rest of the design team along with complete directions and supply lists for each of the projects.

HSN BIG CRAFT DAY is coming up on the 23rd of this month and you're going to want to turn in to see some amazing creations from 3Birds and Xyron.  Plus I have a feeling there will be some deals to be had that day.  So it's a win, win.

For this card I used the following goodies and I will say all of 3Birds collections made this so easy to put together.

Hampton Art #1 Fan

This is a card I made for Hampton Arts and I just really love the way it turned out.  All the colors are just great together, but it's a masculine card that I like...and I'm not easy to please on boy cards.  I used the Good Ole' Sport collection from Graphic 45 and the coordinating stamp sets from Hampton Arts.

Heartfelt Creations : I Thank God

I love, love, love the Heartfelt Creations sentiment I used on this card....Sometimes we go, go, go and forgot to thank God and I must say I've been blessed with a few amazing friends and I'm so thankful to God for them. .  I think it's always nice to let friends and loved ones know how thankful I am for them and this card helps me do just that.

As always, be sure to hop over to Heartfelt Creations Blog and see all the beautiful projects the rest of the design team created this week.  Remember you can always find complete supply list and directions for each of the projects so it's a great way to get those creative juices flowing.  I'll see you Friday.

Happy Crafting!!!

Simples Stories, May Arts Ribbon and Xyron come together : Blog Hop

Hello everyone...today kicks off the amazing week of Simple Stories, May Arts Ribbon and Xyron all joining together for one fantastic blog hop.  Be sure to hop to all the designers blogs and see some great projects through out the week.

Today I've got a tutorial for you that will show you how to make this door hanger sign.  I love this phrase so when I saw it in the Simple Stories " The Story of Us "  I knew I wanted to make a sign for my bedroom door.

The ribbon I used  is wire rimmed gold ribbon from May Arts and it's beautiful and just the perfect touch.

Check out the complete tutorial on Snapguide.

Home Run with Graphic 45

Today you'll find one of my easel cards featured over on Graphic 45 Blog.  I'll be the first to tell you I'm not a huge sports girl, but my GOSH...I love this collection.  It's probably the vintage retro feel that it has as most G45's collections do...but it's just stinkin cute.

I also created a tutorial on how to make the faux leather I used on this card.  Check it out on Snapguide.  Not familiar with Snapguide?  It's the latest up and coming hot internet site.  You can find all kinds of tutorials on how to do...well about anything you can think of.
Here's a link to my tutorial:

Now get ready for a bunch of pictures...wanted to be sure you got the whole feel of the card.  Oh and if you couldn't tell the baseball on the front slides across, so it looks like it's heading out of the park for a HOME RUN!!!!

I'll see you all soon...happy crafting until then.
